my dog's farts are really smelly. What could be the cause and what can I do about it?

I don't know about that. I feed my dogs the top of the line canine chow. Now with that said, I have 4 dogs. The lab will knock your shoes off your feet at 4 paces when she lets one fly, the rotty comes in a close second. Our boston terrior-pug cross isn't so bad, and the newest adopted gentlemen is rather nice on the nose. The two stinkers are females but I hope that doesn't make the difference as I, being of that sex, feel we are the nicer smelling. |

usually this is related to the quality of food the dog is on. more crap in the food means more farts and more smelly farts. |
