What is the best way to introduce established dogs in your house to your new baby? Our dogs are non aggressive but tend to have jealousy issues with each other. Mostly just one pushing the other out of the way to get the attention.

I hope both dogs have taken basic obedience.. if not do so NOW! If they have taken obedience spend some time reminding them that being good - sitting quiet - earns treats! then when you bring the baby home you can reward the dogs for sitting and being good around the baby. As the child grows up you must also teach it to be good around the dogs.. ear pulling, tail pulling and riding the dog are NOT allowed! even if the dogs are okay with it.. it means the kid is not respecting the dogs.

One dog is the Alpha dog. Introduce your baby to that dog alone. Then the next day, introduce the Alpha dog again. Make sure tail is wagging. Or whatever signs of happiness your dog shows. When the Alpha dog is comfortable, introduce the other dog with the Alpha dog. It has been my experience that the Alpha dog will introduce "it's" baby to him/her and behave as a mother or father would protecting the child from the non-alpha dog.
