What is the best way to introduce our established house cat to a new kitten? I hear that that the first few days or weeks it can be very stressful for everyone.

honestly if you can pick another adult rather than a kitten there are some advantages - firstly kittens need kitten food, adults need adult food - and.. since they need food out all the time (or several regular feedings) this is very tricky.. I honestly suggest to people who want another cat, to adopt an adult who has been with other cats and is good with them..
