How can I get my dog to stop bolting out of the house every time we open the front door. She just takes off out into the neighborhood.

your dog needs some basic obedience training - SIT! if you havent taken the dog to obedience lessons do so NOW! then practice SIT..(keeping a leash on the dog fixed to a sofa or somebody holding the dog.) open the door, not for long... reward the dog, shut the door, reward the dog again.. repeat. you really need basic lessons first. |
